Oswaldo Palencia

Oswaldo has a wide breadth of experience in the Military and Private Industry from survey crew to master CAD Designer. He is able to produce a wide variety of specialized plans utilizing CAD, GIS and other software. He has a Bachelors degree from UMASS in Environmental Design and additional course work in Civil Engineering.

Oswaldo’s experience includes:

• Mapping small, medium and large scale projects for fiber optic cable installation utilizing MAP 3D.
• Implement MASS DOT, municipalities and other jurisdictional construction and CAD standards to meet project approval requirements.
• Assistant civil engineers/land surveyors, providing support in both the field and office
• Responsible for producing concepts, schematic design, design development, bidding, permitting, construction documents and a wide range of specialized drawings
• Managed CADD aspects of projects (urban, public, institutional & private/commercial)
• Responsible for maintaining, updating & creating CADD standards/ CAD library
• Responsible for cross referencing of plans, details, sections & elevations
• Perform research at registries of deeds, departments of public works, city halls & city engineer’s offices
• Produced other specialized plans such as lighting and photometric plans
